Megan Catherine Shaw, age 22, of Stratford, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013 in her home.
Megan, a graduate of Bunnell High School, was born in Bridgeport on June 19, 1991, beloved daughter of Richard A. and Catherine O’Connor Shaw, and has been a life long area resident.
Survivors in addition to her beloved parents, include her sisters, Melissa Saytanides and her husband Adam of NC, and Nicole Halzack and her husband Joshua of Derby, cherished nieces and nephews, Russell, Logan, Zoe, and Naomi, aunts and uncles, James O’Connor, Patricia and George Zaccagnini, John and Linda O’Connor, Robert O’Connor, and David Shaw, several cousins and friends, and her beloved “Transplant Sister” Emily Gokey.
Megan was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, George and Patricia Shaw, maternal grandparents, Peter J. and Mary O’Connor, aunt, Cathy Shaw and uncle, Tracy Shaw.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 15th at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church 2070 Main Street Stratford. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
