Julia Hayes
Julia Hayes, age 93, wife of the late Walter Hayes and resident of Ansonia, passed away March 17.
She was born August 8, 1920 in Darlington, S.C. daughter of the late Edward & Hattie Edwards Wright.
She worked for B.F. Goodrich and was a member of The Macedonia Baptist Church in Ansonia.
She leaves to cherish her memory 2 daughters, Gail & Nancy Hayes, both of Ansonia, 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren & a host of nieces & nephews & cousins.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by 2 daughters, Veronica Wilson & Pearlena Jeffrey, and 10 brothers & 4 sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 22 at 11:00 a.m. at The Macedonia Baptist Church in Ansonia. Friends may call at church 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service.
