Nancy Marshall
Nancy Florence Marshall, age 80, a lifelong Seymour resident entered peaceful rest April 1, 2014 at the CT Hospice, Branford.
She was born October 5, 1933 at home in Seymour, daughter of the late Robert H. and Ethel E. (Carlson) Marshall.
Nancy was a lifetime active member of the Seymour Congregational Church, and especially making pierogis during Lent, and knitting hats, scarves, gloves, and afghans.. She was retired from the Kerite Company, Seymour.
Nancy loved traveling in New England, especially Cape Cod with her friend Gloria Gaudet. She was an avid sports fan and her teams were the Boston Red Sox and the UCONN Women’s Basketball Team, Nancy was also a fan of Yale Football and loved sitting in her reserved seat at the 50 yard line for each home game.
Nancy leaves her loving family including her brother, Robert E. Marshall and sister Dorothy F. Marshall of Seymour, and her loving cat, Jasmine.
Her brothers, Raymond T. and Douglas W. Marshall predeceased her.
Calling Hours are Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. The funeral will follow in the Seymour Congregational Church, 15 Broad St., Seymour at 2:30 p.m. A delayed Interment will be in Great Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials gifts may be sent to the Seymour Congregational Church.
