George Wydra age 76, of Milford beloved husband to the late Carol Wydra passed away at peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2014.
Born on April 12, 1938 in Orange, CT, he was the son of the late Adam, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Balko Wydra.
George was employed at Grassy Hill Country Club as the grounds keeper. He was an avid golfer who loved both playing and watching.
George was a loving son, brother, husband, uncle and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his siblings Paul Wydra and his wife Beverly of Orange, Evelyn Zalenski of Ansonia, Elizabeth Zalenski and her husband John of Ansonia, Regina DeFrank of Ansonia, Bernard Wydra and his wife Patricia of Florida and Edward Wydra and his wife Susan of Milford as well as many nieces and nephews.
George is predeceased by his two brothers Adam, Jr. and John Wydra.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 11:00 am at Mary Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church, 168 South Broad St., Milford, CT. Interment to follow at Milford Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 4 to 7 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460.
