Elizabeth “Betsy” Cannata, age 58, wife of Nicholas V. Cannata and Ansonia resident, entered into eternal rest at home surrounded by her loving family June 29.
She was born Oct. 19, 1955 in Derby, daughter of the late Elmer Raymond Rotteck& Elizabeth Towne Rotteck.
She was a graduate of Ansonia High School, class of 1973 and attended Manchester Community College, where she trained to be an occupational therapist. She was a member of Immanuel St. James Episcopal Church in Derby, and worked as a sales consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics.
In addition to her husband Nick, she leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Bethany Nimons and her husband Jeff of Derby and Elyse Cannata of Ansonia, brother John Rotteck of Branford, sister Susan Kitchens of Green Bay, Wisconsin and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3 at 11:00 a.m. (DIRECTLY) at Immanuel St. James Episcopal Church in Derby. Friends may call on Wednesday 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. (www.jenkinskingfh.com)
