Paul Carter Bradford, 69, of Sanford St. Seymour entered eternal rest on Friday July 11th at Griffin Hospital with his beloved wife, Frances Golebieski Czubik Bradford at his side.
Paul was born in Hartford on Dec. 12, 1944, son of the late Roger and Alice (Stone) Bradford.
He was a former communicant of the South Britain Congregational Church and past member of the Southbury Volunteer Fire Dept. He was an Armor Crewman in the US Army. Paul was a refuse driver in New Milford for many years.
He was an avid motorcyclist and Harley Davidson devotee. He enjoyed trucking, stock car racing, and following his favorite sports team, the NY Yankees. Paul had a little known gentle side and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and beloved pets, Rocky, Rosie, & Miss Kitty.
In addition to his beloved wife and high school sweetheart, Frances Golebieski Czubik Bradford; he is survived by his son, Paul Bradford, Jr. an d his fiancée Loran Nolan of Waterbury; step-daughter Trisha and her husband John Geraldino of Seymour; step-grandsons Michael and Cayman Geraldino of Seymour; granddaughter Caitlyn Bradford of TN; brother Russell, and his wife Verda Bradford of Orting, WA; sister Linda, and her husband Cliff Strumello of Seymour; sister in law Maryanne Golebieski of Seymour; several nieces and nephews and many devoted friends.
Friends are invited to greet the family on Wed. from 4-7:00pm at the Anthony V. Chepulis Funeral Home 47 Washington Ave. Seymour. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery (DIRECTLY) Thursday at 9:30am.
In lieu of flowers, Paul requested that memorial donations in his honor be made to the Seymour Dog Pound Silvermine Industrial Park 115 Silvermine Road Seymour, CT 06483.
