Phillip Anthony DiVincenzo Jr., 19 years old, entered into eternal rest peacefully on August 28, 2014 in Yale New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Born in Bridgeport on November 9, 1994 he lived in Milford and Seymour, CT.

A recent graduate of Foran High School in 2013, Phillip was always a good-natured, caring person with a soft spoken voice and a gentle soul. He had a kind-hearted spirit, and would have done anything for his friends and family if they were in need.

Phillip was an avid fan of basketball, especially the UCONN Huskies and Boston Celtics, who also played in PAL basketball games. He was also a fan of soccer, including the Italian National Team. Phillip enjoyed fishing, participating many times in the annual Bluefish Fishing Tournament across Long Island Sound. He loved to watch movies and was very proud of his DVD collection. He always enjoyed spending time with his dog Max, who valued his companionship.

One of his happiest moments in life was when Phillip visited Italy during his Senior class trip, experiencing Italian culture and learning more about his Italian roots. Phillip touched so many people’s lives during his short life and his absence will be deeply felt.

He was loved very much by his many friends and family members who will be forever heartbroken, especially his Nonni and Nonno, who cared for him throughout his entire life with all their heart and soul. Life will never be the same without his presence and he will be missed every day. Phillip will always be remembered by those who loved him and he will never be forgotten.

Survivors include his father, Phillip A. DiVincenzo Sr., of Seymour and his mother, Susan (Perlman) DiVincenzo, of Milford, his three brothers, Michael Carlo DiVincenzo, Bryan Thomas DiVincenzo, and Jason Parana, all of Milford, two uncles, Joseph DiVincenzo of Waterbury, and David DiVincenzo, of Bridgeport, his paternal grandparents, Carlo and Pietra DiVincenzo, of Bridgeport, and maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Perlman of Patterson, NY. Phillip also left behind many cousins and second cousins, who loved him and will miss him very much.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Victor Perlman.
