Angela T. Trapani, 81, of Seymour, peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 9, 2014, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore A. Trapani.
Mrs. Trapani was born in Bronx, NY on June 9, 1933, daughter of the late Alfred and Rose Funicello Vigilio.
A resident of Seymour for over 50 years, she was employed as a computer analyst and bookkeeper for Bailey, Moore, Glazer, Schaefer & Proto L.L.P. in Woodbridge for 36 years until her retirement in 2006. Angela loved to play cards and rummikub.
She is survived by a loving son, Frederick “Rick” Trapani of Seymour, a brother, Emil Vigilio (Eileen) of Briarcliff Manor, NY, a sister, Theresa Vincent of Norwalk, 2 grandsons, Richard Trapani of CA and Gregory Trapani of Hamden, an uncle Kenneth Vigilo of NJ, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ann Grogan.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday October 12, 2014, from 2-5 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Monday, her funeral will be held at 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Entombment will take place in Mt. St. Peter Garden Mausoleum in Derby.
