Ourania “Irene” T. Aliferis, age 99, a former Ansonia resident currently of Virginia, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 13, 2014.
She was the beloved wife of the late Soteros Aliferis; mother of Elaine A. Xenos and Peter V. Aliferis; also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was the proprietor of Vonete Bros., “Palace of Sweets” in Ansonia.
Trisagion will be held at Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St, Ansonia, CT 06401 on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.. Interment directly following at Pine Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Holy Trinity Chapel St. Barbara’s Church in Orange, Connecticut.
