Ronald J. Breymeier, age 81, of Shelton, beloved husband of Margaret Thompson Breymeier, passed away November 25, 2014 in Griffin Hospital, Derby.
Ronald was born in Scranton, PA, August 27, 1933, son of the late Regina Grayek Breymeier and was a Shelton resident for 50 years previously living in Scranton, PA.
He worked as a riveter for Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford, and as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Shelton for over 25 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Shelton and the National Association of Letter Carriers.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Eric Breymeier and his wife Dawn of Seymour; a daughter, Susan Kaiser of Enfield; and a granddaughter, Paige Kaiser of Enfield.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM in the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton with Rev. Amjad Samuel officiating. Interment will follow in Lawn Cemetery, Shelton. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 9 AM until time of service.
