Eileen P. Pedevillano, 71, a resident of Seymour for 42 years, peacefully entered into eternal rest on December 14, 2014, at CT Hospice in Branford. She is the beloved wife of Joseph Pedevillano Sr.
Mrs. Pedevillano was born in Bridgeport on Sept. 28, 1943, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Burke Dinan.
Eileen’s life focused around family, friends and children. She enjoyed holidays, cooking and spending time with her cherished grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Joseph P. Pedevillano Jr. (Melodie) of Nebraska and Michael L. Pedevillano of Seymour, daughters, Michele Downs (Joseph) and Lisa M. Raymond (Paul) of Seymour and Melissa Pedevillano of VA, grandchildren, Joseph Downs Jr., Nicole and Alyssa Downs, Jamie, Morgan and Jack Raymond and Alexis Pedevillano, 3 great grandchildren, brothers, James and Michael Dinan, sisters, Patricia Pihonak, Frances Stoll, Barbara Andes, Rosemary Giambra, Shirley McFadden, Virginia Guilmette, Constance Guggenheim and Peggy Carvalho and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers, Joseph, Robert and John Dinan and a sister, Betty Jump.
Friends and relatives may greet the family on Thursday December 18, 2014, from 4-7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 7:00 pm, a funeral service in celebration of Eileen’s life will take place with Deacon Richard Renker officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation through the funeral home.
