Laura Eleanor Biondi Bengivengo
Laura Eleanor Biondi Bengivengo, 98, of Smith St. Seymour, entered eternal life on March 7, 2015 at Birmingham Health Center after a brief illness. She was the widow of Pasquale Bengivengo.
Laura was born in Seymour on May 28, 1916, daughter of the late Angelo and Maria Biagiarelli Biondi.
Laura was an LPN at Yale New Haven Hospital for many years. She was a communicant of St. Augustine Church and a member of the Seymour and Oxford Senior Centers.
Laura was a helping and caring woman who was always ready to lend a hand to all who needed her loving support and encouragement.
In addition to her husband Laura was predeceased by her beloved son, Joseph Raymond Biondi and brothers James and Mario Biondi.
She is survived by her devoted sister, Elsie Valeski of Seymour, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to meet on Wednesday March 11th DIRECTLY at St. Augustine Church Seymour, for a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery in the Spring. The Anthony V. Chepulis Funeral Home 47 Washington Ave. Seymour is assisting the family.
