Mary A. Kalentek, 88, of Ansonia, died July 24, at CT Hospice in Branford.
Born Feb. 2, 1927, in Ansonia; member of St. Joseph Church in Ansonia where she sang in the church choir, member of the Red Cross in Ansonia and the Polish Falcons of American Nest 767.
Predeceased by parents, Zygmunt and Anna Lizewski Sokolnicki, six brothers and two sisters.
Survived by husband, Joseph F. Kalentek, a son, a daughter, three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and grand-pups.
Visiting hours: Monday July 27, 5-7, chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Tuesday, her funeral will take place at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Church in Ansonia. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery in Derby.
