Joan C. Austin, 80, of Seymour, insurance agent for the HRH Insurance Co. for 15 years, died Aug. 9, at the CT Hospice, Branford.
Born Nov. 6, 1934, in Danbury.
Daughter of the late Martin and Rosalyn Zwecker Chuvala.
Survived by three children, two sisters, two brothers, a grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
