Ruth E. (Lindgren) Johnson, 88, of Clearwater, FL went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2016.
She was born Jan. 28, 1928, in Derby, daughter of the late Gunnard and Elsie (Rubelman)Lindgren.
She was a longtime resident of Wethersfield. CT before retiring to Clearwater, FL.
Ruth had worked at Amodio Moving & Storage for many years. She was an active member of the Wethersfield United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her son Jacky, her husband Robert F Johnson, and her brother William Lindgren.
She is survived by her four children Robert F. Johnson and his wife Carol of El Cajon, CA, Debra Bremer of Clearwater, FL, William Johnson of Clearwater, FL, Peter Johnson and his wife Susan of Wethersfield, CT, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, her brother Gustaf Lindgren of St. Petersburg, FL, and sister Marlene Gluck of Seminole, FL.
Friends may call Thursday 4/28/16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St., Ansonia. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) There will be a private family burial service Friday morning at Pine Grove cemetery in Ansonia.
