George C. Micklus Sr., age 91, of Milford, entered into eternal rest on September 14, 2014.
The beloved husband of the late Frances Fogler Micklus for 57 years, he was born in Derby CT April 29, 1923 to the late John and Anna Micklus. He was a Milford resident most of his life.
A WWII Navy veteran who was proud to have served his country, Mr. Micklus worked for Bic Pen Corp. prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his son George C. Micklus Jr. and his wife Denise of Seymour, his daughter Charlene F. Micklus of Milford, and his treasured grandsons Christopher G. Micklus and his wife Amanda and great-granddaughter Adrienne of Orange, and Jeffrey M. Micklus and fiancé Cindy Casuyon of Cromwell, as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother John Micklus, and sisters Mary Sedlock, Helen Sedlock, Evelyn McCarthy and Charlotte Sheahan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 18th at 11am at Christ the Redeemer RC Church, 325 Oronoque Road, Milford CT 06461. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Avenue, Milford. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, September 17th from 4 to 8pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street on the Green, Milford, CT 06460.
