Roosevelt Smith, a 70 year old Ansonia resident and husband of Martha Smith, passed away Jan. 18, 2014.
He was born April 26, 1943 in Darlington, S.C., and worked as a machine operator for Latex Foam Co.
In addition to Martha, he leaves his daughter Sabrina Smith of Ansonia, 2 sons, Roosevelt Smith Jr. of Ansonia & Clayton Benjamin of New Haven, his sister Mary Thompson of Anderson, S.C. and 1 grandson & 1 granddaughter. Funeral
Services will be held on Friday, Jan. 24 at 11:00 a.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Burial will be private. Friends may call on Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service.
