Anthony J. Zasun, 55, of Seymour, peacefully entered into eternal rest on January 22, 2014, at Griffin Hospital.
Anthony was born in Derby on December 13, 1958, son of the late Antoni and Sophia Solima Zasun.
He was employed as a painter at Sikorsky Aircraft for twenty-five years.
Anthony was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and NY Giants and enjoyed fishing, golfing and bowling.
He is survived by three sons, Anthony Zasun of Waterbury, Adam Zasun and Alex Zasun of FL, three loving sisters, Christine Szwaba (Zenon) of Naugatuck, Diane Kuzma (Stanley) of Beacon Falls and Julie D’Onofrio (Pat) of Shelton, three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many very devoted close friends who were always there for him.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend Anthony’s Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday January 25, 2014, at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church, 32 Jewett Street in Ansonia. Visiting will take place prior from 9:30 am until the procession leaves for church at the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Private burial will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia at the convenience of the family.
